Place a rolled towel along the length of the mid back spine while seated, hands on the back of the head, extend the back, stretching and arching over the towel.
Lying face up with the head supported by a rolled towel or a pillow, tuck the chin straight back into the neck on a perpendicular plane to the floor. Release and repeat.
Head begins in a neutral position over the shoulders, preferably while seated so the chair back can stabilize the torso. From the neutral position, tuck the chin straight back in a parallel line with the ground below. Return chin to neutral. The chin tuck can be done with an extension stretch as well. Once the chin is retracted, extend the head by looking up and releasing the chin tuck at the same time, then return the head to neutral. Repeat.
