Upon entering our office, we will have you complete some paperwork. If you would like to save 20 minutes on your first appointment, we request that you download and fill out the patient forms ahead of time. They are located here.
The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition.
Next you will have a consultation with one of the doctors to discuss your health-related problems. Your first visit is designed to learn more about you, your condition and your expectations to determine how we can help you meet your goals.
After your consultation, one of the doctors will perform a complete examination testing your reflexes, your ability to turn and bend as well as other standard neurologic, orthopedic, postural, and physical examinations.
Your specific condition may or may not require us to take x-rays. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions or assist us with our treatment. We can provide x-rays in office or refer you for MRI, etc. Need for x-rays or further diagnostic studies will be determined during consultation and examination.
Patients will be provided with the appropriate treatment based on results of consultation, examination, and diagnostic studies. We believe that to have the best treatment outcome, the patient must be educated about their problem and agreeable with the recommended treatment plan. We do our best to explain our recommendations and will answer any question you have to the best of our ability.
